How Does Synchronization Work Between Powered Now and Xero?
Xero account is set up but not sure what to do next. This article helps Find your way around the Xero integration
Once you start interfacing with Xero, a second sync icon will appear at the top of the Powered Now app.
You'll need to press this sync icon in order for the synchronisation to occur - sync will no longer happen automatically.
The synchronisation happens in the following sequence:
- Contacts
- Invoices
- Credit notes
- Payments
When invoices sync from Powered Now to Xero, the invoice in Powered Now locks so it won't be able to be edited or deleted.
However if you have any invoices you don't want syncing over to Xero straight away, you can disable the invoice from going over to Xero by clicking the Don't sync to Xero button under the options dropdown. After this, the invoice will have a 'x' next to it in the sales tab so you know it's disabled from syncing over to Xero.
