Ability to disable customer portal chat

Prefer to deal with your customers directly over the phone but still want access to the premium tier features?

 

  • To turn off the ability for customer's to reply to your messages in the customer portal, go into the Settings (Green cog top right of the home page) then into 'Customer Portal Settings'
  • In there near the bottom is the 'Enable customer portal chat functionality' which when turned off, will disable the ability for customers to reply to your messages via the portal
